I am the one who is responsible for ordering various promotional products for my office. We typically give away ink pens and free mini-notepads to clients and potential clients when they come in to meet with us. Last week I began searching for a new company to handle all of our promotional products and I couldn’t be happier with my new choice. The previous company I used was starting to take forever to fill orders and the last order I placed with them contained the wrong style of products. I just started using a company called US Imprints and I really couldn’t be happier. Turnaround time on their orders seem great and the quality of their promotional products are top notch.

A friend of mine is setting up his own little retail store and I am helping him get everything ready and trying to find the best deals on everything he will need. The POS system was the last major thing that we needed to order. Now he is ready to scan bar codes and get everything going.

A friend of mine recently told me about a place that does DNA testing to find out and learn more about your heritage. Ancestry DNA can tell you about your family roots and where you came from. I’m really thinking about checking it out, just to find out about my families roots and what kind of people we came from. I found a website called DNA Roots that does the testing. I’ll probably contact them to find out more.

Some friends of our family recently bought an older home that they wanted to completely remodel. It is a very beautiful home, but the floors were in such bad shape. They pulled up all the old carpet and padding and inspected the wood floors underneath them. Some of them were still in nice shape, needing only a small amount of work. Others were beyond repair and needed all the boards replaced. They chose to have wall to wall carpet installed in the rooms that needed small amount of work done to them. In the other rooms that needed all new boards laid, they decided since they were having to pull up all the old wood and put down new, they would keep them stained beautiful hard wood floors and scatter area rugs on them. In some of the rooms, they laid a few smaller area rugs and in other rooms, they chose to lay one big area rug and leave the rest of the room with nice looking new hard wood floors. Area rugs really made a huge difference in the appearance of their new purchased home.

A few months ago I ordered The Nightmare On Elm Street Collection DVD box set from Buy.com. It was on sale for only $25.00 with free shipping and I absolutely love it. It contains all of the Nightmare On Elm Street movies, plus a bonus disc of extra features and two pair of 3D glasses with the Nightmare On Elm Street logo on the sides of them. All of the DVDs come in their own individual snap cases, no cheap cardboard sleeves like some other cheaply made “complete collections” that I’ve purchased in the past. I always find awesome deals on different items like this on Buy.com. Sometimes I don’t even notice what’s on sale for a great price until someone mentions it on one of the message boards I read. Like any bargain website, they’re not the lowest price on every single item, but you can usually find plenty of items on their website that are cheaper than any other online or walk-in retail store. Browse through their website if you’ve never really checked it out. You’ll probably run across a few things you never even realized you wanted. I always do.

I worked at a warehouse where I was in charge of the incoming freight that was received daily. I had to keep track of all the invoices that came in with the freight, too. I had a rubber stamp with the word “received” on it. It was a standard stamp where you could buy it at almost any office supply store. It really saved me lots of time, instead of finding and using and pen every time we received any package. All I had to do was use that rubber stamp, and stamp it and put it in the right paperwork basket to finish the process later. It was real handy to have and saved lots of time.

There are many different diet pills in stores today. Some of them you can buy over the counter without a prescription, and others you must have a prescription to buy. Regardless of which one a person uses, they can be a real necessity to losing weight. I have known different people that started losing weight while taking them and as soon as they stopped using them, they quit losing weight. They help your metabolism, as well as other features. If I was going to go on a diet, I would definitely talk to my doctor to find out which one he thinks would be best, since there are so many different diet pills on the market today.

My office recently sold a few of their Sony Vaio notebook computers to employees. The employees with the best performance got to pick through the notebooks before anyone else. The one I picked out was a Z Series Vaio and looks like it has never even been used. I know that the Z Series notebooks go for between $1,500 and $3,000, so when I saw it, I grabbed it quick. I was going to sell it on eBay or something, But I’ll probably end up keeping it or giving it to my girlfriend as an extra Christmas bonus gift or something. I haven’t told her about it yet, so it would make a nice surprise.

My girlfriend gave her friend a baby shower last month. She spent lots of time preparing for it. She sent out the invitations, bought all the decorations and decorated, hired a bakery to make the cake and mints and planned all the games to be played. She actually enjoyed doing all this, even though it was lots of work and very time consuming. The last thing she did was shop for the baby gift. I went with her during this time. We were amazed at how many different unique baby gifts there were to choose from. We wanted to buy something that we thought nobody else would think of. We bought several different clothing pieces, car toys that attached to the baby’s car seat and much more. Luckily, nobody bought anything like the gifts we bought.
