Last week my girlfriends’ office held a little contest and my girlfriend won. The prize was a diamond series club membership to the wine of the month club from GoldMedalWine.com. Normally we don’t drink much wine because it’s hard to find something that tastes good for a decent price. They offer some great savings on a great selection of wine through this club, though. I didn’t think we would actually be using the club membership, but we most definitely are.

One of the other managers in my office was talking about ordering a bunch of christmas cards to send to everyone who works for the company. The guys at the corporate office left him in charge of taking care of it and he wasn’t really sure about which company to order the cards from. We were looking around online and found GalleryCollection.com. They have a nice selection of cards for just about any occasion. Birthday cards to Christmas cards corporate cards and more. They also seem to be made nice. We’ll probably endup ordering a bunch through them. We didn’t really want to just go out and buy some cheap looking cards that sell for 5 cents each. GalleryCollection.com is also a supporter of Soldiers’ Angels (www.SoldiersAngels.org). They recently donated 280,000 cards to the organization to be sure our troops received cards over the holidays. You can’t really go wrong buying from a company who supports organizations like Soldiers’ Angels.

The “Need For Speed” series of racing video games has always been my favorite racing games. I’ve loved them every since I played it for the first time on PSX. I really want to try the newest addition to the Need For Speed family called Need For Speed: Pro Street. I think I’m going to buy it for PC since I Don’t have an Xbox360 console. A friend of mine keeps telling me I should buy an Xbox360 but I just don’t want to spend $350 on it since I’m really only into a few different games.

What ever happened to Chia Pets? Back when I was a teenager they were super popular and there was a commercial on television about them every 10 minutes. “Cha cha cha Chia.. the pottery that grows”. I still see them at a few stores but I wonder if theyre anywhere near as popular as they used to be. I just thought about this and felt like posting it.

I’ve been looking around for christmas gift ideas for friends and family since a couple of months ago. Now I’m looking for some reasonably priced horse riding apparel for my nephew. He loves horses and horseback riding and he can never get enough of the cowboy rancher style clothing. He told me about this website he shops at. I’ve been thinking about buying a new wireless router. My old router has been acting weird lately and sometimes it just disconnects and stops responding out of nowhere until I unplug it and plug it back in. This is getting pretty old. A few times I have been pretty close to throwing this thing out of my window or just smashing it against the wall.

I was looking around for a cheap new duffle bag to keep some extra clothes and things in. I always try to keep an extra shirt and some pants close by in case something gets spilled on them or something else happens. I came across several products by port authority clothing. I found a duffle bag for under 2 dollars and several different shirts, shorts and pants for a very cheap price as well. If youre looking for something cheap that still looks good, I would recommend their products.

I’m at work right now and typing this from my desk. They just announced the winner of a little contest they had last week and guess who won. That’s right, me. I won a brand new Vacheron Constantin watch that retails for right over five thousand bucks. It’s a ladies watch so I can’t wear it obviously. My girlfriend is going to get it for christmas. She will be so surprised.

I picked up a new half inch heavy duty dr air ratchet the other day made by Ingersoll Rand air tools. I paid right over eighty bucks for it and it was worth every penny. A few of my air tools were stolen when someone broke into the toolbox in my truck a while back and I really havent had the time or money to replace them all at once.

I’ve been looking at treadmills lately. My doctor recommended that I either get out and run for about twenty to thirty minutes a day or that I get a treadmill for my home. I think I’m just going to buy a treadmill and put it in our basement so that I can use it when I have the time, no matter if it’s in the middle of the afternoon or at three o’clock in the morning.
