I can’t wait for the Black Friday ads to come out this year. Last year I saved so much money and found some of the best deals I’ve ever seen. A friend of mine got a new high dollar digital camera for next to nothing and I picked up a brand new plasma tv for nearly 50% off regular price. I can’t wait to see what’s on sale this year!

My girlfriend’s best friend just had her very first baby shower. My girlfriend threw the baby shower for her and really had a great time putting it all together. We got her a really nice Ju Ju Be diaper bag and a few other things. She really ended up with a ton of stuff. My girlfriend invited about 25 people to the shower and they each gave her at least one gift. My girlfriend gave all of them different gift ideas so that nobody would buy her the same thing. I told my girlfriend we need to pretend we’re getting married so we can get some stuff.

My daughter was enrolled in High School this year. There were so many different items she needed to buy. First we bought her all the new clothing and shoes. After that, we shopped for, and bought, all the classroom supplies that she needed. After we were almost ready to relax and thinking about everything being bought and all she had to do was start school, we started thinking of one more thing. We decided that since she always made such good grades and did so well in school, we would purchase a new computer for our home. That would really help her a lot with school assignments. We bought a computer and got it all set up and ready to use, before noticing it was missing one thing we still needed to buy. We needed a CAT5e cable to finish hooking up printer, USB, and other hardware. I have no idea how our friend hooked it all up, but it is finally hooked up and ready to use.

My girlfriend gave her friend a baby shower last month. She spent lots of time preparing for it. She sent out the invitations, bought all the decorations and decorated, hired a bakery to make the cake and mints and planned all the games to be played. She actually enjoyed doing all this, even though it was lots of work and very time consuming. The last thing she did was shop for the baby gift. I went with her during this time. We were amazed at how many different unique baby gifts there were to choose from. We wanted to buy something that we thought nobody else would think of. We bought several different clothing pieces, car toys that attached to the baby’s car seat and much more. Luckily, nobody bought anything like the gifts we bought.

My son is getting ready to have his 14th birthday. We asked him what he would like for his birthday. The gift he wanted the most was a paint ball gun set and all the accessories he would need to use it. We searched many stores and found the price to be very reasonable. We even shopped in one store that sold mostly tactical gear, other guns, knives and camping supplies. He ended up getting all he needed to begin using his paint ball gun. The set came with two guns and we live in the country, so we have the space and all they will need.

My sister recently became ill with several serious conditions. Her computer is in her office on the upstairs level of her home. She no longer was able to walk upstairs during her treatments she was taking. It was very important that she use her computer every day for personal use and business. Due to the way her home was situated and the size of the rooms, there was no way possible for her to bring her entire computer system downstairs to the living room where she was staying most of the time. After thinking of a solution to this problem, she decided to purchase a laptop computer. It was wonderful how she was able to use it without moving all her furniture around and making huge arrangements to the home. She now sits on her couch, in her living room, and uses her new laptop on a daily basis and is so comfortable doing so. The cost was very reasonable and she even has a printer connected to it.

I think it’s time to upgrade my computer memory again. The last time I added more RAM to my computer It seemed to run a little smoother, but I didn’t really add enough to see a significant difference. I think this time I’m going to add 3gb to it. I don’t see how I can go wrong with 3gb. I love video editing and other media editing, so this should be perfect.

I’ve been complaining that the flash memory in my digital camera is too small for about a year now. Last week a friend of mine showed me a website that sells a huge variety of memory cards and memory sticks for very decent prices and I now have a new 4gb memory card in my camera. I can’t believe I waited this long to upgrade from the factory 60mb memory. It’s a whole lot nicer being able to store more than 30 pictures at a time.

A friend of mine is very into horses and the whole ranch lifestyle. His birthday is coming up on July 9th and I still can’t think of much to get him. I know he loves equestrian clothing, so I was thinking about getting him a decent size gift certificate to the local western wear store so he can pick a few things out that he’ll actually enjoy. Who knows, I’m terrible at buying gifts.

A local body shop went out of business about a month ago and they were selling tons of parts and accessories for nearly wholesale prices. A friend of mine picked up a nice Chevy grille for his truck for next to nothing. His cousin picked up some rims for his Chrysler 300 for right over $900.00. The rims retail for around $3000.00 everyplace we’ve seen. I wish I had a nice car so I could have picked up some accessories for it.
