A few months ago I ordered The Nightmare On Elm Street Collection DVD box set from Buy.com. It was on sale for only $25.00 with free shipping and I absolutely love it. It contains all of the Nightmare On Elm Street movies, plus a bonus disc of extra features and two pair of 3D glasses with the Nightmare On Elm Street logo on the sides of them. All of the DVDs come in their own individual snap cases, no cheap cardboard sleeves like some other cheaply made “complete collections” that I’ve purchased in the past. I always find awesome deals on different items like this on Buy.com. Sometimes I don’t even notice what’s on sale for a great price until someone mentions it on one of the message boards I read. Like any bargain website, they’re not the lowest price on every single item, but you can usually find plenty of items on their website that are cheaper than any other online or walk-in retail store. Browse through their website if you’ve never really checked it out. You’ll probably run across a few things you never even realized you wanted. I always do.

There is such a broad range of watch styles on the market today. One of the finest is the Patek Philippe watches. They come in different styles and are made for both men or women. About two months ago I ordered a new Western Digital 1TB My Book Essential USB 2.0 external hard drive. I love this thing! I use it on an hourly basis for backing up project data at work and when I work on my home computer and it has worked flawlessly. I do a lot of video editing and I’m thinking about buying another external hard drive for those sort of media projects. Hopefully I can find one cheap during the upcoming Black Friday sales.

One of the guys I know at work has been trying to get me to buy wholesale electronics from a guy he knows in the city. He says that his brother works for an online wholesaler like Liquidation.com and Overstock and that he can buy items that they sell online for about half of what they sell for on their website. I’ve always been told that if a deal seems to good to be true, it probably is. I don’t know if I trust this guy or not.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I went bed shopping. We looked at several different bed frames and matching bedroom furniture packages at what seemed like 200 different stores. I finally just gave up on my opinion and let her pick out whatever she wanted. I spend most of my time in our entertainment room or in my garage, so it wasn’t as important to me as it was to her. She picked out a decent set of furniture, though. I have no complaints.

For the last couple of weeks my girlfriend has been going on and on about joining a wine of the month club. She heard a few of her friends at work talking about it and it sounds like a great idea to her. I keep telling her that I’m not at all interested, but I think I’m going to go ahead and join one of the wine clubs as a gift to her for Christmas this year. She does a lot of things that she doesn’t really want to do, just to make me happy, so this is the least I can do for her.

My girlfriend’s father and I have always gotten along very well. This hasen’t been the case with any of my previous girlfriends. My girlfriend’s dad actually enjoys hanging out with me on the weekend. Last month when he came over to pick me up to go golfing, he actually gave me a new set of Titleist golf clubs. I’ve never really received a gift like that from anyone before in my entire life. These aren’t pawn shop or bargain bin priced clubs. These are top notch professional quality golf clubs he gave me. I guess I’m just lucky.

My girlfriend’s father recently retired from his job of more than 30 years. He was given a brand new Patek Philippe watch and a nice celebration party in his honor. I wish I could find a job that I could see myself doing for the next 30 years. Im not really unhappy with my current job, I just don’t see myself working there for more than a few more years. The pay isn’t bad and I really get along with the people I work with, I just don’t enjoy my actual job tasks. Hopefully I can find something new and soon.

The other day when I mentioned Black Friday being right around the corner, it got me thinking about the plasma tv that I got last year during the Black Friday sales. I really need to look at some TV furniture. Right now the tv is just sitting on top of an old entertainment stand and looks a bit out of place. I’d like to get a plasma tv lift with a cabinet that can hold my DVD players and video game consoles. Hopefully I can find something like that this year.

I can’t wait for the Black Friday ads to come out this year. Last year I saved so much money and found some of the best deals I’ve ever seen. A friend of mine got a new high dollar digital camera for next to nothing and I picked up a brand new plasma tv for nearly 50% off regular price. I can’t wait to see what’s on sale this year!
