My twin daughter and son just turned sixteen a few months ago and now have their driver’s licenses. We always promised to buy them their first car when they had their license and turned sixteen. Insurance seems quite high in cost for younger teenagers. We are now starting to look at different cars to buy them. When they seem to really be interested in one, we always come home and call our insurance agent we currently have our cars insured with, for a quote first, as we can also get a multi-car discount for having more than one car on our policy. Both of our children have finally decided on a couple different cars each, for us to decide on which one we agree to buy for them. I can’t believe my daughter is going off to college. It seems like only yesterday she was declaring that she was daddy’s little girl”. How time flies! My girlfriend’s sister always has debt collection agencies calling her and her boyfriend because they have a hard time paying some of their bills on occasion. I was talking to her boyfriend the other day while they were over at our place, and he was talking about spending all of this money on Black Friday deals and how he’s going to buy them a new big screen plasma 1080p TV and I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I try not to say anything to them about how badly they manage their money just to keep things cool between us, but that was just ridiculous.

I can’t wait for the Black Friday ads to come out this year. Last year I saved so much money and found some of the best deals I’ve ever seen. A friend of mine got a new high dollar digital camera for next to nothing and I picked up a brand new plasma tv for nearly 50% off regular price. I can’t wait to see what’s on sale this year!

I hear so many people talking about how everyone should completely stop using credit cards and that nobody really needs any credit cards. I have to respectfully disagree. I think it’s very important to have at least one high limit credit card in case something would come up and I couldn’t get my hands on any cash without using a credit card.
