Drugs Destroyed His Life

An old friend of mine has been in and out of drug rehabilitation clinics for the better part of the past 17 years. He has always struggled with his addictions. He started getting into drugs and alcohol early in high school and it really destroyed his life. He seems to really be trying to stay clean now and I wish him all of the luck in the world.

Las Vegas Was Great

A few years ago my girlfriend and I took a vacation out to Las Vegas. We had a great time. Las Vegas is really my kind of town. There are people walking around no matter what time it is. I’m a night person so I really enjoyed being able to go out at 2 o’clock in the morning and there still be lots of people walking around. We stayed at the Bellagio hotel. It was probably one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. I can’t wait to go back.

Real Estate

I’ve been thinking about getting into real estate lately. My girlfriends father has made quite a bit of money buying and selling real estate in the past couple of years and he offered to help me get into it. He even said he would help me with some money to get started if I needed it. I’m really considering it, we could use the extra money.

Restaurant Financing

My girlfriend and I have been thinking about opening a restaurant. She loves to cook and I’m pretty good at managing the financial aspect of things. We’ve been looking into restaurant financing and are pretty sure that we want to do it. AdvanceRestaurantFinance.com has alot of helpful information and options when it comes to getting a restaurant loan. We’ll probably go through them.

Sears Has Horrible Customer Service

I’ve been a loyal Sears customer for many years. I really like the warranties they offer and the quality of their products. Their customer service as of late seems to be getting worse and worse. I needed them to come out and look at my washer when it was leaking and they said they could send someone out in 5 days. 5 days! That’s alot of piled up laundry and a pretty big inconvenience. After getting ahold of several different people, I finally got someone a little higher up on the food chain and they got someone to come out the very next day to take a look at my washing machine. I’ll probably try and stay away from Sears from now on. This isn’t the first problem I’ve had this year with their customer service (or lack there of).

Business Line of Credit

A friend of mine recently started his own small business. He applied for a business line of credit from EZUnsecured.com so that he could charge things like repairs and supplies without having to dip into his family’s savings. He was approved for a line of credit up to $200,000 with an interest rate of 9.5% APR and it required no collateral on his end. The credit was based on his credit history rather than his assets, so he didn’t have to worry about his assets being pledged. He has a pretty solid credit history so he didn’t have to provide a whole lot of documentation to qualify for the business credit line. If youre interested in more information regarding a business line of credit, check out EZUnsecured.com.

The Unit

I’m a big fan of the show “The Unit“. It’s one of the best military-type shows that I have ever seen. The Unit stars Dennis Haysbert, Scott Foley, Max Martini, Demore Barnes and Robert Patrick. The Unit is a covert Special Forces team that does not exist. Their cover is the 303rd logistical studies group. They are assigned covert military operations by the President and never get credit for their actions.  Their wives are also a tight group protecting their husbands. They protect their husband’s secrets and maintain their cover.

Check it out if you get a chance. It just returned for season 3 and is only into the second episode so far.

Silk Trees

My girlfriend keeps trying to get me to buy one of those silk trees that they offer on NearlyNatural.com. I have to admit that they look pretty good, different than most plants or trees you see at other peoples homes. They go for about $200 and you don’t have to water or take care of them (because theyre made of silk). I might go ahead and order the one she has been wanting and surprise her with it.

New Digital Camera

My girlfriends’ brother had a birthday last week and we gave him a new Casio EX-V7SR 7.2 megapixel digital camera from Buy.com. The camera was only about $200 and it was worth every penny. After seeing how nice it was, I actually ordered one exactly like it for myself. Buy.com always has some great deals. As long as they keep offering these kind of products for reasonable prices, I will continue to shop there.
