I really can’t wait for summer to be over. My favorite time of year is probably Fall. The temperature starts cooling down but it’s not quite as cold as Winter. I just plain out hate the heat. Maybe my car air conditioner being broken has something to do with this. Regardless, I can’t wait for Summer to be over.

A while back a friend of mine got me and my girlfriend one of those digital photo frames. The digital picture frame lets you stick the memory card of your digital camera in a slot and the digital photo frame has a little LCD screen on it that displays the pictures from the card. You can either display the digital photos in a slideshow type of way, or you can have it just display one picture the whole time. I really think it’s a pretty interesting product. It just goes to show you that we’re living in a digital age and technology has come a long way. My girlfriend really loves it. A friend of mine recently got married. He and his wife applied for a loan so they could get into a new house and they were quickly approved. With all of the interest rates going up for loans and mortgages, I think they should have stayed in their apartment for a little while longer. A while back my friend and I were going to a local bar to play some pool. We pulled into the parking lot next to a guy that was leaving. When the guy backed his car out, his front end smashed into the side of my friends car. We both got out to talk to the guy and asked for his insurance information and what not. He claimed he had no insurance and there was nothing he could do about the damage! We both got pretty upset and the guy just drove off. Luckily a few people inside knew who the guy was and we were able to file a police report and get the damages fixed.

A friend of mine recently got out of a drug rehabilitation center. He checked himself into the rehab center for alcohol rehab. He has struggled with his addiction to alcohol for many years and nobody really thought he had any plans of slowing down. He finally saw what his drinking was doing to himself and everyone he cared about so he decided that rehab was the right choice.

It actually seems like rehab did him some good. He has been out of the rehab center for over a month and hasent had one drop of alcohol. Everyone is very proud of him for taking the liberty and checking himself in and trying to clean his life up.

“The Condemned” starring Steve Austin (WWE) and Vinnie Jones is set to be released on DVD September 18th. Dispite some of the reviews I have read for this movie, I actually enjoyed it. I was expecting it to be something cheezy and poorly put together, but it was a great movie. If you havent seen it you should rent it when it comes out, it’s worth the 2 hours.

A friend of mine struggled with his weight all of his life, he recently went in for Lap-Band weight loss surgery and it really seems to be working. My girlfriends birthday just passed and I got her a very nice gold necklace with a diamond pendant. I almost couldn’t decide which jewelry I wanted to buy for her. We are thinking about adding some new Murray Feiss lighting to our home. We’ve been working on a few other home improvement projects and decided to go ahead and replace and add some new lighting as well. I’m hoping to be done with all of the home improvement projects fairly soon so we can start enjoying our new and improved home.

So lately the house has been a mess with all of the work that my girlfriend thinks we need done. The new carpet is finally done but now were having the kitchen sinks and tile redone. I swear the woman thinks that I’m made of money. I’ll be so glad when all of this is over and I can move about my house freely.
